Adolescence is usually known as a period of self-discovery. At this time, adolescents usually have a connection to new things and have a strong desire to try, besides that adolescents will tend to be easily provoked, cannot control their emotions, and tend to be explosive. This can cause them to be easily influenced by peers and difficult in making decisions. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method that aims to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and career decision making in class XI students of SMKN 6 Palembang. The population in this study were 436 students with a sample of 81 students determined using proportional random sampling technique. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire through google form and used a Likert scale as the research instrument. The results showed that the level of emotional maturity was in the moderate category with a percentage of 72% (56 students) and career decision making was in the moderate category with a percentage of 62% (50 students). Then produced 0.305 as the pearson product moment correlation value which indicates a weak/low relationship in accordance with the coefficient interval of 0.20-0.39 and unidirectional between emotional maturity and career decision making in class XI students of SMKN 6 Palembang, meaning that the higher the level of emotional maturity of students the higher their career decision making, on the contrary the lower the level of emotional maturity of students, the lower their career decision making.
