This qualitative research with a descriptive method was conducted in Talang Balai Baru 1 Village, Ogan Ilir, involving two parents and two adolescents as key informants. Data was collected through interviews and observations, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The research results show that communication between parents and children changes when children enter puberty. Children tend to be quiet and closed off, while parents find it difficult to understand changes in their children's behavior. Although parents provide information about reproductive health, children do not always pay attention to it. Emotional support from parents is also a challenge, with children often being emotional and parents struggling to control their emotions. This research concludes that parental guidance for adolescents during puberty requires open communication, emotional support, and a deep understanding of the physical and emotional changes experienced by children.
