REVITALISASI SKATE PARK 19 ILIR SEBAGAI RUANG TERBUKA HIJAU DI KOTA PALEMBANG
This study aimed to evaluate the impact of the revitalization of the 19 Ilir skate park as a green open space in Palembang city. The background of this research was the need for green open spaces to enhance the quality of the environment and the well-being of urban communities. The methods used in this research included interviews with park users and managers, site analysis, landscape visual assessment, concept synthesis, preliminary design, consultations with experts and managers, budget estimate plan, and final design. The revitalization of Skate Park aimed to enhance ecological functions by adding vegetation, improve park aesthetics with a more attractive landscape design, add facilities such as more benches, stairs for access, and park lights, and replace neglected facilities such as damaged skateboard areas, non-functional park platforms, pathways damaged by roots, and circulation access that did not fully utilize all corners of the park. Before the redesign, the visual landscape data of Skate Park was first analyzed using the Scenic Beauty Estimation (SBE) method. SBE data were obtained with a value range of 0 to 111.46. The visual landscape data were re-analyzed based on the park's redesigned results. The values obtained in the redesigned park ranged from 0 to 80.00. Skate Park was designed with a sustainable landscape architecture concept, preserving the existing tree vegetation. The Skate Park design included circulation paths, a central feature area, ornamental plant areas, park benches, direction signs, park lights, and a children's play area. This park design could be realized with a budget of 1,426,664,971.00 IDR.
