Intermediary traders usually buy and sell high quality and low quality bokar. The quality or grades of rubber are different from a physical perspective, which will determine whether the quality of the rubber is high quality This research aims to: 1) Analyze the difference in profits for traders between high quality rubber and low quality rubber in Bayung Lencir District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. 2) Explain the strategies used by intermediary traders so that farmers continue to sell rubber processing materials owned by the people in Bayung Lencir District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. 3) Describe the mechanism of intermediary traders in determining the price of community rubber processing in Bayung Lencir District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. Data collection was carried out in February. The method used in this study was a survey method. The sampling method used in this study was simple random sampling with a total sample of 10 traders who buy and sell high and low quality bokar and 10 samples of bokar farmers. The data obtained consisted of primary data and secondary data. he results showed that 1) The average total profit of intermediary traders who buy and sell high quality rubber processing materials is greater than traders who buy and sell low quality community rubber processing materials in Bayung Lencir District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. 2) The strategy of intermediary traders so that farmers continue to sell processed rubber materials in Bayung Lencir District, including the trader's strategy here, is divided into 4 components, namely providing allowances, providing debt, having family relationships and providing high purchasing prices for bokar. 3) Intermediary traders determine the purchase price of people's processed rubber materials in Bayung Lencir District, Musi Banyuasin Regency using descriptive methods. Pricing methods can be grouped into 4 parts consisting of factory price-based pricing, competitor price-based, profit target-based, marketing cost-based and market price-based.
