PEMBENTUKAN MEMBRAN POLYVINYLIDENE FLOURIDE DENGAN PENCAMPURAN PERAK NITRAT UNTUK PENYARINGAN AIR
This research aims to develop membranes with materials including Polyvinylidene Flouride (PVDF) polymers with a mixture of addictive substances Silver Nitrate (AgNO3) as a reinforcement and N, N-Dimethylformamide (DMF) as a solvent. The research method focuses on membrane modification starting from the membrane surface of Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), membrane characteristics of Tensile Testing, mechanical properties and Clean Water Permeablity (CWP) water treatment performance. In this study, in the tensile test, a decreased voltage value was obtained, namely on the PVDF20wt%@AgNO31.5wt% membrane, an average value of 10.833 N/mm2 was obtained, while in PVDF22.5wt%@AgNO31.5wt%, a value of 7.916 N/mm2 was obtained, and in PVDF25wt%@AgNO3215wt%, an average value of 6.166 N/mm2 was obtained. In CWP testing, there was a significant decrease in flux, namely on PVDF20wt%@AgNO31.5wt% membranes obtained an average value of 11.055 Lm-2h-1 Inversely proportional to PVDF22.5wt%@AgNO31.5wt% concentration with a flux value of 9.950 Lm-2h-1 and PVDF25wt%@AgNO31.5wt% with the lowest average flux value of 6.633 Lm-2h-1. In SEM observations of the surface of the PVDF membrane with the addition of AgNO3 observed using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) showed the results of differences in structure that significant.
