This research aims to determine the influence of motivation and work discipline on the performance of South Sumatra Province DPRD Secretariat employees. The population used was all employees of the DPRD Secretariat of South Sumatra Province with a sample of 58 people, using a saturated sampling technique. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The analysis technique used is a multiple linear analysis technique. The data was processed using the SPSS version 23 program. The research results showed that the variables of motivation and work discipline had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the South Sumatra Province DPRD Secretariat employees.
