This research aims to determine the effect of powtoon learning media on students' learning motivation at SMA Negeri 2 Palembang. This research uses quantitative research methods with a descriptive associative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires, interviews and observations. The population in this study was 219 students and the sampling technique used Non Probability sampling with Purposive Sampling technique. Validity test uses the Pearson Product Moment technique and reliability test uses the Cronbach's Alpha technique. The data analysis technique uses Chi Square, namely normality test, linearity test, while hypothesis testing uses simple regression analysis. The results of the research show that there is an influence of Powtoon learning media on the learning motivation of class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Palembang, with a coefficient of determination of 17.37%. Recommendations for future researchers are to add different variables so that the research becomes broader and more insights are obtained.
