DETEKSI SERANGAN DDOS DOS DAN MITM PADA JARINGAN SMARTHOME MENGGUNAKAN METODE SUPPORT VECTOR MACHINE
The development of the Internet of Things (IoT) has brought convenience to human life through the smart home concept, which enables various devices to be interconnected and controlled automatically. However, this increased connectivity also poses security threats, particularly cyberattacks such as Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS), Denial of Service (DoS), and Man-in-the-Middle (MiTM). This study discusses the detection of DDoS, DoS, and MiTM attacks in smart home networks using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method. The dataset used is COMNETS SMARTHOME with four classes normal, DDoS, DoS, and MiTM. Data were extracted using T-Shark, followed by preprocessing and oversampling to balance the dataset. The SVM model was tested with several kernels and validated using a confusion matrix. The results show that the Polynomial kernel achieved the best performance with an accuracy of 99.85%. The SVM method proved effective in detecting attacks on smart home networks and has the potential to be applied in IoT security systems. Keywords : Smarthome, DDOS, DOS, MITM, Support Vector Machine.
