ANALISIS ERGONOMIS STASIUN KERJA PEKERJA PEMANGGANG KEMPLANG DENGAN METODE POSTURE EVALUATION INDEX DALAM VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT
Kemplang crackers are a specialty of Palembang City, South Sumatra. Most of the people who live in Meranjat II Village have a home industry to make baked kemplang crackers. Work activities involved in production activities, ranging from making dough to baking kemplang. For eight hours, repetitive work is carried out by workers roasting kemplang for two times a minute. In roasting kemplang, most of them still rely on manual handling techniques and are done repetitively. In creating a virtual environment, the help of Siemens Tecnomatix Jack 8.4 software is required. The results of the study obtained a Posture Evaluatin Index (PEI) value of 1.04. This value indicates that the posture of the worker is at a safe value. This value is accumulated by three analysis methods, namely Lower Back Analysis (LBA), which obtained a value of 648 N. This value is included in the green area category because the value is below the NIOSH standard limit of 3400 N. The Ovako Working Posture Analysis System (OWAS) method gets code 1111. The code can be interpreted that the posture is in the normal category and there are no problems in the musculoskeletal system. The grand score of RULA obtained is 3 points. This work posture has a low risk level for musculoskeletal disorders.
