PERANCANGAN DAN IMPLEMENTASI SOLAR TRACKER DUA SUMBU BERBASIS ARDUINO DENGAN SENSOR LDR PADA SISTEM PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA SURYA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PANEL SURYA POLYCRYSTALLINE 10 WP
This study aims to design and implement a dual-axis Solar Tracker based on Arduino with LDR sensors on a solar power generation system using a 10 WP polycrystalline solar panel. The Solar Tracker is designed to enhance the efficiency of solar energy absorption by automatically following the movement of the sun. The methods used in this study include the mechanical and electronic design of the Solar Tracker and performance testing of the system through measurements of voltage, current, and light intensity received by the solar panel. Data collection was conducted over seven days, from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, to compare the power generated by the solar panel with and without the Solar Tracker. The results show that using the dual-axis Solar Tracker based on Arduino significantly increases the power generated by the solar panel compared to a static system. This increase is due to the Solar Tracker allowing the solar panel to always be at the optimal angle towards the sunlight. The conclusion drawn is that the dual-axis Solar Tracker based on Arduino with LDR sensors is effective in improving energy efficiency in solar power generation systems. Implementing this technology can be an efficient solution to maximize the use of solar energy in various applications.
