This research concerns the conditions of laundry service businesses and the management of laundry services as well as forms of empowerment of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic Boarding School Indralaya. In this research, Sumodiningrat (1999) uses the concept of community empowerment using qualitative methods and case studies as a research strategy. Data was obtained from 10 main informants, 1 key informant and 3 supporting informants through observation, interviews, documentation and audio. Then the data was analyzed using data condensation analysis techniques, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this research show that the condition of this laundry business was initially managed by BUMY. However, in 2020, management was transferred to BMT. This is because BMT's management system is considered more effective. BMT also chose not to provide a washing place because there are a large number of washing aunts and the washing process at home is considered more effective. Laundry business management is divided into 3, namely (1) depositing and collecting students' clothes which is carried out routinely every morning, (2) payment system, (3) profit sharing system. Before the empowerment program, the laundry business did not have a clear structure and management system. This results in a non-optimal washing process and injustice for the washing aunts. Therefore, laundry businesses are empowered to build better structures and organizations. Forms of empowerment in laundry service business operations are in the form of (1) partnering with business actors (laundry aunts), (2) providing facilities in the form of credit financing services, (3) agreements in the form of standard operating procedures (SOP).
