Work fatigue can be experienced by anyone, including workers in the informal sector such as tailors. Sewing certainly has potential hazards, especially from the equipment used, such as sewing machines and sewing needles. Sewing can also be a source of occupational hazards such as being pierced by a sewing needle, tripping over a pile of fabric, longitudinal threads, cutting knives, inhaling fabric dust, and even other health problems. In addition, tailors are also required to be careful, have good speed, focus, concentration, accuracy and good skills, and tailors will always look at one point continuously and repeatedly, where these activities can cause fatigue. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence work fatigue among tailors in Ogan Ilir Regency. This research is included in quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample used amounted to 51 people. Data analysis techniques used include univariate, bivariate, and multivariate. The results showed that there were 3 variables associated with fatigue, namely gender (p-value = 0.050), marital status (p-value = 0.036), and tenure (p-value = 0.036). There were 4 variables that were not associated with fatigue, namely age (p-value = 1.000), nutritional status (p-value = 0.172), workload (p-value = 0.151), and work duration (p-value = 0.076). Based on multivariate analysis, the most influential factor was gender (p-value = 0.046). It can be concluded that tailors in Ogan Ilir Regency still experience moderate fatigue as much as 74.5%. Tailors can prevent the occurrence of work fatigue by stretching between work or rest periods, increasing the consumption of drinking water so as not to dehydrate, eating a regular diet, having a habit of breakfast, and having enough rest time so as to increase work productivity and avoid the risk of other diseases.
