Traffic is one of the sources of air pollution from transportation activities for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) exposure. One of the occupations with the risk of TSP exposure from vehicles is street sweeper. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the magnitude of environmental health risks due to TSP exposure in street sweepers in the Seberang Ulu 1 area of Palembang City. This study used the Environmental Health Risk Analysis (EHRA) method with a deterministic approach. Exposure estimation was calculated using the Central Tendency Exposure (CTE) value. The samples in this study were 30 street sweepers selected by purposive sampling technique. Data collection and activity patterns of respondents used interviews by filling out questionnaires while TSP data was measured using the Haz-Dust EPAM 5000 tool with the gravimetric method. Then, exposure analysis was conducted by calculating the intake value or ADD. Then, risk characterization was carried out by calculating the RQ value. The results of this study are the TSP concentration value of 113.16 µg/day/kg, the intake or ADD value of 10.82 µg/day/kg and a risk value of 0.14 (RQ ≤ 1) in non-carcinogenic exposure. The conclusion of this study is that street sweepers in the Seberang Ulu I area of Palembang City are not at risk of having non-carcinogenic health problems caused by TSP exposure.
