PENGARUH DOSIS PUPUK NPK TERHADAP PEMULIHAN TANAMAN KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) PASCA TERBAKAR DI LAHAN KERING
In oil palm cultivation, low rainfall is one of the factors contributing to land fires. Low rainfall leads to drought and water scarcity. This study aims to determine the optimal NPK fertilizer dosage for 15-year-old oil palm plants on dry land with the goal of accelerating their recovery after fire damage. This research was conducted in a community-owned plantation located with coordinates lalitude 3,17342° South, longitude 104,51171° East. The research was conducted from February to May 2025. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD). There were six treatments and four replications, resulting in a total of 24 sample plants with one plant used as a buffer. The treatments consisted of control (P0), 1 Kg NPK per plant (P1), 2 Kg NPK per plant (P2), 3 Kg NPK per plant (P3), 4 Kg NPK per plant (P4), and 5 Kg NPK per plant (P5). The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). For estimated recovery that base gowth of time of appear for variables (week after fertilisation-WAF). Fires on oil palm plantations cause damage to the growth of leaves, stems, roots, and fruit production, as well as inducing plant stress. The application of NPK fertilizer to oil palm after fire can increase the number of green fronds, female flowers, and fruit bunches, while reducing the number of chlorotic fronds. In general, the recovery of vegetative organs in oil palm after fire occurs around 3–6 weeks after fire (WAF), whereas the recovery of generative organs occurs around 6–8 WAF. The results showed that the application of NPK fertilizer had no significant effect on the recovery of oil palm (in terms of the number of green fronds, chlorotic fronds, drooping fronds, number of spear leaves, number of male flowers, number of female flowers, and number of fruit bunches). Based on the percentage calculation, recovery was observed in green fronds (3 WAF, 25%), dropping fronds (6 WAF, 10%), chlorotic fronds (6 WAF, 35%), spear leaves (6 WAF, 15%), male flowers (6 WAF, 5%), female flowers (7 WAF, 30%), and fruit bunches (8 WAF, 5%). The application of NPK fertilizer is capable of restoring both vegetative and generative growth of oil palm following fire damage, particularly between 6 and 8 WAF.
