PENGARUH PUPUK NPK TERHADAP PEMULIHAN TANAMAN KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) VARIETAS DURA PASCA MUSIM KEMARAU DI LAHAN KERING
Oil palm is a crop that is highly dependent on rainfall for productivity. The productivity of oil palm is also influenced by the availability of nutrients in the soil. This study aims to determine the optimal NPK fertiliser dosage for 15-year-old dura variety oil palm plants in dryland areas to accelerate the recovery of dura variety oil palm after the dry season in dryland areas. The study was conducted on a community-owned plantation with coordinates 3°11'11.8"S 104°29'51.7"E in Putak Village, Gelumbang Sub-district, Muara Enim District, South Sumatra. The study was carried out from January to May 2025. The study used a Randomised Block Design (RBD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications, resulting in 25 sample plants. The treatments consisted of control (P0), 2 kg NPK per crop (P1), 2,5 kg NPK per crop (P2), 3 kg NPK per crop (P3) and 3,5 kg NPK per crop (P4). The data obtained were analysed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). For estimated recovery that base on gowth of time of appear for variables (week after fertilisation-WAF). The results showed that NPK fertiliser application had a significant effect on the recovery of Dura variety oil palms (number of spear leaves). However, the treatments did not have a significant effect on (male flower clusters, female flower clusters, number of fronds, number of sengkleh fronds, number of chlorotic leaves). Based on the time calculations, recovery began to occur in male flower clusters at 6 WAF, the percentage of female flower cluster emergence began at 6 WAF, the percentage of increase in the number of fronds began at 4 WAF, the percentage of recovery in the number of spear leaves began at 10 WAF, the percentage of emergence of the number of sengkleh fronds began at 6 WAF, and the percentage of recovery in the number of chlorotic leaves began at 8 WAF. The application of NPK fertiliser can restore the number of spear leaves on dura variety oil palms after the dry season.
