Cerebral palsy (CP) was a group of permanent disorders that disrupt motor development, leading to limitations in activities. CP could be classified based on motor impairments, including spastic hemiplegia, diplegia, quadriplegia, dyskinesia, and ataxia. Several risk factors associated with CP include antenatal, perinatal, and postnatal factors, such as infections, prematurity, LBW, and gemelli. This study used a descriptive retrospective method with cross-sectional design, utilizing medical records at dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang from January 1, 2019-January 1, 2024, selected through simple random sampling. The variables studied include CP classification, age of first-time visit, clinical classification (GMFCS, topography, neuroimaging), comorbidities, risk factors, and their correlation to CP classification. Data analyzed using SPSS. The sample consists of 97 patients.Based on the clinical profile of the patients, the gender distribution was predominantly male (54.6%). Most patients received outpatient treatment (92.8%). GMFCS IV was predominant for GMFCS classification (33%). Microcephaly was predominant for clinical classification of head size (88.9%). Quadriplegia was predominant for topography classification (63,7%). Cerebral atrophy was predominant for neuroimaging classification (62.5%). Epilepsy was predominant comorbidity classification (65.4%). Spastic CP was predominant for CP classification (93.8%). The age of first-time visit was toddlers (1-5 years) (57.7%). In the grouping of risk factors, perinatal factors were the predominant (48,2%). Overall, the risk factors identified a predominance of spastic CP classification. Predominantly male, outpatient treatment, GMFCS IV, microcephaly, quadriplegia, cerebral atrophy, epilepsy, spastic CP, toddlers, postnatal infections, perinatal factors, all the risk factors identified a predominance of spastic CP classification.
