PENGARUH SIMULASI TINDAKAN RESUSITASI JANTUNG PARU TERHADAP MOTIVASI MENOLONG KORBAN HENTI JANTUNG PADA SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA
The treatment of cardiac arrest victims outside the hospital is still low, the one is due to the lack of motivation on the community, including school students, to provide first aid. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) simulation is an educational method that can increase student motivation to provide assistance to cardiac arrest victims. This study aims to determine the effect of CPR simulation on motivation to help cardiac arrest victims among junior high school students. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The sample was 124 students from SMPN 2 Mesuji, randomly selected using a probability sampling technique with a stratified random sampling method. The instrument used a helping motivation questionnaire. Respondents characteristic consisted of the students in grades VII, VIll, and IX, aged 12-15 years.
