RANCANG BANGUN DATA LOGGER SUHU DAN KELEMBABAN TANAH DAN UDARA UNTUK PERTANIAN
Soil and air temperature and humidity are environmental factors that affect plant growth. Therefore, monitoring these conditions is important in the agricultural sector. This study aims to design a data logger to measure soil and air temperature and humidity. Data were collected using a data logger system that works automatically in various environmental conditions. This study took place from December 2024 to March 2025, at the Agricultural Energy Sub-Laboratory, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. Measurements were made by comparing the sensor results with standard tools, namely soil moisture meters and data loggers. The test results showed that the DS18B20 sensor had an accuracy of 97% compared to standard tools, Capacitive Moisture Soil V2.0 had an accuracy of 96.26%, while the BME280 had an accuracy of 97.61% for air temperature and had an accuracy of 96.35%. In addition, soil and air temperature and humidity showed fluctuating patterns that could affect plant physiological processes. Based on the research results, this sensor can be used as a real-time agricultural environmental monitoring tool with a fairly good level of accuracy.
