PENGARUH FAKTOR-FAKTOR KETERLIBATAN MASYARAKAT PADA MEDIA SOSIAL PEMERINTAH (Studi Kasus Akun Instagram @dinas_sosial_sumsel)
This study investigates the influence of eight factors on citizen engagement in government social media, with a case study on the Instagram account of the South Sumatra Provincial Social Affairs Office (@dinas_sosial_sumsel). The background of this research is the government's use of social media as a communication tool. Although the @dinas_sosial_sumsel Instagram account is active, a lack of interaction, such as low numbers of likes, comments, and shares, was found. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the factors that influence the level of engagement. The method used is quantitative with a Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach, involving 122 active Instagram user respondents. This research tests eight variables hypothesized to have a positive influence on citizen engagement: Provision of Quality Information on Social Media, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Benefit, Perceived Risk, Perceived Responsiveness, Citizen Satisfaction, and Trust to Government. The results of this study show that there are two influential factors, namely Perceived Ease of Use with a T-Statistic value of 2.198, P-Value of 0.028 and Trust to Government with a T-Statistic value of 5.380, P-Value of 0.000.
