HUBUNGAN ASUPAN CAIRAN DAN MAKRONUTRIEN DENGAN VOLUME AIR SUSU IBU (ASI) PADA IBU MENYUSUI USIA BAYI 0-24 BULAN DI KABUPATEN MUSI RAWAS
Exclusive breastfeeding is still a problem in Indonesia, the government is trying to support breastfeeding mothers to provide exclusive breastfeeding, because only 50% of the 2.3 million babies in Indonesia receive exclusive breastfeeding. Low levels of exclusive breastfeeding influence the incidence of stunting. Children who are not given exclusive breast milk are more at risk of stunting. Musi Rawas Regency is one of the areas with the highest stunting in South Sumatra. Many things influence exclusive breastfeeding coverage, including low breast milk volume. Macronutrient intake (energy, fat, protein and carbohydrates) and fluid intake play an important role in breast milk volume. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out further research to determine the relationship between fluid intake and macronutrient intake and breast milk volume in breastfeeding mothers aged 0-24 months in Tuah Negeri District, Musi Rawas Regency. The sample in this study consisted of 48 breastfeeding mothers. Analysis in this study used the chi-square test. There is a relationship between fluid intake and energy intake and breast milk volume (p=0.05). The most dominant variable related to breast milk volume is fluid intake with OR=76.057. Nursing mothers need to increase their knowledge of the importance of fluid intake and macronutrient intake to obtain good quality breast milk volume.
