Background: The high incidence of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is an important public health issue. Hemodialysis therapy takes a long time, has complications, and requires patient adherence. Fatigue is the most common impact of hemodialysis therapy in hemodialysis patients. Soaking your feet in warm water is effective in overcoming fatigue because the warm nature of water can relieve muscle tension, dilate blood vessels. Objective: To find out the effect of soaking feet in warm water as a strategy to reduce fatigue in CKD patients having hemodialysis. Methods: The method was descriptive with a case study approach on 3 CKD patients with hemodialysis. Results: The results of the study showed that the main nursing problem was the fatigue. The intervention provided was the warm water foot soaking therapy which could reduce the level of fatigue of hemodialysis patients. An evaluation was carried out on the patient's fatigue level after being given a Warm Water Foot Soak therapy intervention and the FACIT fatigue scale questionnaire The FACIT Fatigue scale questionnaire on the average generated a reduced score of 40 8. Discussion: Soaking feet in warm water caused vasodilation and promoted heat discharge. It increased the expansion of the veins so that the blood volume increased and in time delivered oxygen and nutrients to the brain needed to relieve fatigue. Conclusion: Warm water foot soaking therapy can be used as one of the non-pharmacological therapies to reduce hemodialysis fatigue in CKD patients.
