Background: Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that affects the cervical area and is commonly suffered by women aged 40–50 years and above. One of the main complaints that often arise in cervical cancer patients is pain, so proper management is needed both pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. One of the non-pharmacological methods that can be used to help reduce pain in cervical cancer patients is a combination of guided imagery relaxation techniques with lavender aromatherapy. Objective: to depict the nursing care in cervical cancer patients who suffered pain with nursing intervention by performing the relaxation techniques of guided imagery and lavender aromatherapy. Methods: It was qualitative with a case study approach on 3 cervical cancer patients who suffered pain. The administration of lavender aromatherapy guided imagery therapy intervention was carried out once every day for 10–15 minutes for 3 days. Pain scale measurement was done using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Results: There were 11 nursing problems found in all three cervical cancer patients with the main nursing problem of chronic pain. The results of the provision of non-pharmacological interventions, namely the application of Guided Imagery and Lavender Aromatherapy, showed that the patient’s pain scale decreased by 2–3 points from the intensity of the moderate pain category to the mild one. Discussion: The results of the study found that pain is the main complaint experienced by the three cervical cancer patients, so that the main nursing diagnosis could be established, namely the chronic pain. The application of Guided Imagery and Lavender Aromatherapy played an important role in reducing the pain by creating psychological calm and supporting the release of oxytocin and endorphins hormones that played a role in lowering the pain perception. Conclusion: The application of Guided Imagery and Lavender Aromatherapy is effective in reducing the pain suffered by the cervical cancer patients.
