ANALISIS PENGARUH VARIABEL DEMOGRAFI TERHADAP OUTCOME PASAR TENAGA KERJA REGIONAL SUMATERA
This study aims to analyze whether population, sex ratio and dependency ratio have the effect on labor market outcomes (average wages/net salary of workers/employees) in Sumatera. The data that used is time series data from 2016 to 2023 and cross section data in 10 provinces on Sumatera, so it uses panel data regression analysis techniques. Based on the results of Chow Test and Hausman Test, the best model that used in this study is Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results show that population has a positive and significant effect on the average wage/net salary of workers/employees in Sumatera, while the sex ratio and dependency ratio have a negative and significant effect on the average wage/ net salary of workers/employees in Sumatera.
