PROFIL PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS SENSITIF OBAT DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG TAHUN 2022-2023
Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the leading causes of global mortality, including in Indonesia. This disease is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and can be diagnosed through clinical symptoms, bacteriological examinations such as the Molecular Rapid Test (TCM), as well as additional tests including radiological and hematological evaluations. This study aims to analyze the profile of drug-sensitive TB (DS-TB) patients at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital Palembang from 2022 to 2023, which serves as a type A referral and teaching hospital in South Sumatra. This descriptive observational study with secondary data from medical records of patients meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria. A total of 59 DS-TB patients were analyzed, with the majority being over 60 years old (33.9%), male (66.1%), unemployed (18.6%), high school graduates (69.5%), and residing in Palembang (54.2%). Most patients had good nutritional status (49.2%), were non-smokers (93.2%), and had no comorbidities (74.6%). Hematological examinations revealed an erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) >20 mm/hour (93.2%) and a neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) >3 (79.7%). Most patients had blood glucose levels
