Hydatidiform mole is a disease that originates from the placenta where the proliferation of villi trophoblasts occurred. In Indonesia, the incident number of hydatidiform mole is 1 per 40 pregnancies, so it is considered as an important disease with a high incident rate. Considering this incidence rate, periodic studies are needed to determine the development trend and clinical characteristics of hydatidiform mole. Therefore, a study was conducted to determine the incidence and characteristics of hydatidiform mole in RS Kemenkes Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. This research is descriptive observational with a cross sectional study design. This research aims to determine the incidence and clinicopathological features of hydatidiform mole in Anatomical Pathology Laboratory of RS Kemenkes Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang from January 2020–December 2023.
