The Military coups and attacks by extremist groups that have occurred since 2015 in Burkina Faso have exacerbated the food crisis and famine in various regions. The government of Burkina Faso has not been able to address the food crisis in the country amid ongoing conflict. This study aims to determine the role of the World Food Programme (WFP) in addressing the food crisis in Burkina Faso in 2024 through the Management Approach, Normative Approach, and Enforcement Approach from the theory of International Organization Implementation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review data collection technique. The WFP carries out its vision, mission, and programs by monitoring and ensuring transparency in its performance, managing material and technical assistance, developing national capacity, collaborating with other actors, and maintaining authority and legitimacy in addressing the food crisis. The WFP's role is considered to have yielded good results in reducing the food crisis in Burkina Faso in 2024.
