Accidents at school are a relatively common problem. If the school meets safety standards and implements accident prevention strategies, the school can ensure the school environment is safe and reduces the risk of accidents. This research aims to analyze the implementation of occupational safety and health in leading private high schools in Palembang City in accordance with the Minister of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016; Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 8 of 2018; Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Regulation No. 15 of 2008; Minister of Health Decree No. 1429 of 2006; PU Ministerial Regulation No. 26 of 2008; Minister of National Education Regulation no. 46 of 2023; PUPR Ministerial Decree No. 14 of 2007. This research is descriptive research, qualitative approach. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews and observation. The total number of informants in this study was 38 people. The research results show that the leading private high school in Palembang City still has several buildings and infrastructure that are damaged, but the school provides solutions if damage occurs. Apart from that, violence still occurs in schools. Furthermore, Palembang City's Leading Private High School does not yet have full exit facilities such as evacuation routes, emergency stairs, emergency signs and exit routes. A gathering point sign has been found at the leading private high school in Palembang City but it does not meet the standards. Schools should carry out routine checks of buildings and infrastructure, increase the prevention of acts of violence in schools by tightening SOPs, and equip evacuation facilities if an emergency occurs at school.
