Consolidation testing in the Ogan Komering Ilir Regency area, Kayu Agung aims to overcome the problem of peat soil where construction will be built on it such as toll roads. Peat soil has a weak bearing capacity and significant soil subsidence, so it is necessary to carry out testing and compaction of the soil. Consolidation tests were carried out using undisturbed soil using an Oedometer with a load that was added every week. The results of the tests carried out showed that the highest compression index value was at location 2 point 1 with a value of 1.449, while the lowest value was at location 1 point 1 with a value of 0.349. And it was found that the largest consolidation coefficient value was at location 2 point 2, namely 1.095, while the lowest was at location 1 point 1, amounting to 0.530. And the largest secondary compression index value is at location 2 point 1 with a value of 0.058, while the lowest is at location 1 with a value of 0.007. In this way, it can be concluded that the peat soil at location 2 experienced the greatest consolidation among the other samples
