EFEKTIVITAS KINERJA PEGAWAI HONORER DI DINAS KOMUNIKASI DAN INFORMATIKA KOTA PALEMBANG
This study aims to assess the effectiveness of honorary employees' performance at the Department of Communication and Informatics of Palembang City. Utilizing a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, data were gathered through observation, interviews, and document analysis. Findings indicate that the performance of honorary employees is effective in terms of both work quality and quantity. However, inefficiencies persist in punctuality, particularly concerning employee discipline. Supporting factors for performance effectiveness include appropriate salaries, rewards, motivation, and a conducive work environment. Conversely, hindering factors encompass poorly maintained facilities, weather conditions, and physical fitness. Proposed recommendations entail enhanced supervision, facility upkeep, and imposing stricter sanctions for disciplinary violations. It is hoped that these research findings will contribute to enhancing the performance effectiveness of honorary employees at the Department of Communication and Informatics of Palembang City.
