Postoperative nausea and vomiting include three main symptoms (nausea, retching, and vomiting/emesis) that can occur separately or simultaneously. The incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting can reach up to 80% in high-risk patient populations and up to 30% in the general patient population. This study aims to describe postoperative nausea and vomiting in orthopedic patients with neuraxial anesthesia. This study is a descriptive observational study using a cross-sectional design.
