HUBUNGAN POLA MAKAN DAN AKTIVITAS FISIK DENGAN KEJADIAN HIPERTENSI PADA MASYARAKAT DI KOTA PALEMBANG
Cardiovascular disease is the biggest contributor to death worldwide. Hypertension is one of the biggest risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Deaths due to cardiovascular disease caused by hypertension can be prevented by increasing physical activity and regulating diet. This study aims to analyze the relationship between physical activity and diet with the incidence of hypertension in adults in Palembang City. This type of research is observational analytic with cross-sectional design. This study took secondary data from the study "Analysis of Periodic Occurrences of Anomalies in Glucose Tolerance, Independent, and Concomitant Factors Accompanying Implications for Future Health Policies." The sample of this study was adults aged 19–65 years who visited health centers in Palembang City, with a minimum sample of 323 respondents. Data analysis in this study was carried out with the help of the SPSS version 27 application using univariate and bivariate analysis with binary logistic regression tests. The number of samples was 323 people with the result that 123 people (38,1%) had hypertension, the majority of female respondents (73.5%), aged 40–65 years (53.9%) and employment status in the working category (61.3%). The results of the analysis with binary logistic physical activity and diet affect the incidence of obesity.
