This study aims to determine the Effect of Competence and Work Motivation on Employee Performance in the HR division of PT Bukit Asam Tanjung Enim. The population in this study is 48 employees of the HR division of PT Bukit Asam Tanjung Enim. This type of research used a saturated sample technique. The data used in this study were primary data with a data collection method using questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and competence and motivation have a partial effect on employee performance.
