HUBUNGAN STRES KERJA DAN LAMA DUDUK DENGAN NYERI PUNGGUNG PADA GURU MAN 3 PALEMBANG
Indonesia has a teacher shortage of more than 1.3 million teachers by 2024. The lack of teachers results in an increase in teacher workload. Increased teacher workload triggers stressors. Work stress and prolonged sitting are stressors experienced by teachers in their profession. The ongoing impact of these stressors is back pain. This study aims to determine the relationship between work stress and sitting duration with back pain in MAN 3 Palembang teachers. This study was an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional approach. The research subjects were 70 teachers at MAN 3 Palembang who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sampling method used total sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed using the Chi-square test with the help of SPSS software. The majority of teachers are female (72.9%). The level of work stress is dominated by a mild level (88.6%). The majority of teachers sit for more than 4 hours (67.1%). Back pain complaints were experienced by the majority of teachers (78.6%). There is no significant relationship between work stress and sitting duration with back pain (p = 1.000). There is no significant relationship between work stress and sitting duration with back pain in MAN 3 Palembang teachers.
