ANALISIS EFISIENSI PRODUKSI USAHATANI SINGKONG DI KECAMATAN BANJAR MARGO KABUPATEN TULANG BAWANG PROVINSI LAMPUNG
This study aims to analyze the technical and allocative efficiency of cassava farming that does not use NPK fertilizer 17-6-25 Pusri in Banjar Margo District, Tulang Bawang Regency, Lampung Province, using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) approach with an input-oriented model and the assumption of Variable Return to Scale (VRS). The analysis of 40 respondents shows that most cassava farmers have not yet achieved optimal efficiency, with only 7.50% being technically efficient, 22.50% allocatively efficient, and 70% experiencing increasing returns to scale, indicating that increasing input use could still significantly improve output. Moreover, the Pearson correlation test confirms that socioeconomic factors such as age, education level, farming experience, and number of family dependents significantly influence technical efficiency, highlighting the need for targeted training, extension services, and policy support to improve the efficiency and productivity of non-NPK cassava farming in the region. Keywords: farming efficiency, non NPK cassava, socio-economic factors
