Hypertension is a condition of continuous increase in blood pressure in systemic arteries. Prolonged hypertension can cause damage to organ structure and function. Left Ventricular Hypertrophy (LVH) and diastolic dysfunction are the most common echocardiogram features found in patients with long-standing hypertension. This study is an observational analytic study with a cross sectional approach. The data used were primary data obtained through echocardiographic examination results and direct interviews with hypertensive patients. This research is quantitative research because the research data is in the form of numbers and analyzed using statistics. The majority of hypertensive patients had LVH (64.1%) and diastolic dysfunction (71.9%). The majority of patients with hypertension 5 years experienced more diastolic dysfunction along with LVH (46.9%). There was a significant relationship between the duration of hypertension and the incidence of LVH (p=0.010; PR=2.411; CI=1.195-4.863) and diastolic dysfunction (p=0.021; PR=2.571; CI=1.103-5.995). Keywords: Echocardiography, Hypertension, Left Ventricular Hypertrophy, Diastolic Dysfunction
