Endometriosis is a disease characterized by the presence of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity that can trigger inflammation. Menstrual characteristics such as early menarche, short menstrual cycles, prolonged menstrual duration, and excessive menstrual volume may increase the likelihood of endometriosis. This study is an observational analytic study with a case control design to determine the relationship between menstrual characteristics and the incidence of endometriosis in women of reproductive age at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin General Hospital. The samples of this study were women of reproductive age diagnosed with endometriosis (case group) and non-endometriosis (control group). The data used was primary data in the form of interviews. The analysis results of this study showed that the majority of endometriosis patients were 35–44 years old (48%). There was a significant relationship between menstrual cycle (p=0.023; OR=3.857), menstrual duration (p=0.034; OR=5.412), and menstrual pain scale (p=0.001; OR=7.875) with the incidence of endometriosis. There was no significant relationship between age at menarche (p=1.000) and menstrual volume (p=0.552) with the incidence of endometriosis. There was a significant relationship between menstrual cycle, menstrual duration, and menstrual pain scale with the incidence of endometriosis. There was no significant relationship between age at menarche and menstrual duration with endometriosis incidence.
