PENGARUH GEOMETRI JALAN ANGKUT TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS ALAT ANGKUT PADA PENAMBANGAN BATUBARA DI PT BHUMI SRIWIJAYA PERDANA COAL, MUSI BANYUASIN, SUMATERA SELATAN
This study aims to analyze the effect of haul road geometry on the productivity of hauling equipment in coal mining operations at PT Bhumi Sriwijaya Perdana Coal, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatera. The evaluated parameters include road width, longitudinal grade, cross slope, superelevation, and curve radius, which were compared with the standards of Ministerial Decree of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 1827 K/30/MEM/2018 and AASHTO (American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials). The research was conducted through direct field measurements and productivity calculations of hauling equipment before and after haul road improvements. The results show that several haul road segments did not meet the geometric standards, particularly in grade and superelevation parameters. The actual hauling productivity was 44.83 tons/hour, resulting in 28,399.74 tons/month, or 95.49% of the May production target of 29,741 tons. After the haul road geometry was improved based on the Kepmen and AASHTO standards, productivity increased to 49.67 tons/hour, with a monthly production of 31,130.19 tons, equivalent to 104.67% of the target. These findings indicate that optimizing haul road geometry according to technical standards significantly enhances the productivity of hauling equipment in the mining area.
