ANALISIS EFISIENSI VARIASI BENTUK SUDU TURBIN ANGIN VERTIKAL DARRIEUS DAN SAVONIUS PADA PROTOTIPE PLTB SKALA MIKRO UNTUK PENGISIAN BATERAI PONSEL
This research analyzes the efficiency of the effect of variations in the shape of vertical turbine blades on a prototype of a micro-scale Wind Power Plant (PLTB) for charging cell phone batteries. The research will design and test prototypes of vertical wind turbine blade shape variations to determine the most efficient configuration for generating electrical power. In the micro-scale wind turbine darrieus, the maximum average electrical power that can be generated is 0.460 W at an average wind speed of 6.5 m / s and with an average turbine efficiency of 6%. While the average electrical power that can be generated by the Savonius turbine is 0.15 W with an average wind speed that hits it of 6.5 m / s and the average turbine efficiency is 11.6%. This shows that the Darieus turbine is superior in terms of electrical power generated, while the Savonius turbine is superior in efficiency and operation. However, the power that has been generated by the micro-scale wind farm of the darrieus turbine is still not enough to be able to charge the cell phone battery, because the power is relatively small.
