Aggressive behavior among adolescents is one of the issues that can negatively impact to the psychosocial development, social relationships, and academic achievement. Adolescents with a high level of aggressiveness tend to have difficulty controlling their emotions and are at greater risk of engaging in acts of violence, both verbal and physical. Emotional Healing Therapy (EHT) is a complementary therapy method aimed at helping individuals cope with and manage negative emotions, thereby reducing the level of aggressiveness in adolescents. This study aims to analyze the effect of Emotional Healing Therapy on aggressive behavior among adolescents at SMK Mutiara Tanjung Enim. This research employed a one-group pretest-posttest design without a control group. The sample consisted of 32 students selected using a stratified random sampling method. The Emotional Healing Therapy intervention was administered in four sessions over two weeks, with each session lasting 35-45 minutes duration. Aggressiveness levels were measured before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test to determine differences in aggressiveness levels before and after therapy. The results showed a significant difference in adolescent aggressiveness levels before and after the Emotional Healing Therapy intervention (p-value < 0.05). The average aggressiveness score significantly decreased after the therapy was conducted. These findings showed that Emotional Healing Therapy can serve as an intervention to help adolescents manage negative emotions. Therefore, this therapy can be recommended as part of school guidance and counseling programs to address adolescents aggressive behavior and enhance students' emotional well-being.
