PENGARUH PELATIHAN DAN PENDAMPINGAN TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PENELITIAN TINDAKAN KELAS (PTK) MAHASISWA CALON GURU BIOLOGI YANG MENGIKUTI PROGRAM PPG PRAJABATAN GELOMBANG I
This research aims to determine the effect of training and mentoring on the PTK abilities of prospective Biology teacher students who are taking part in the 2023 Batch 2 Pre-Service PPG Program at Sriwijaya University. The implementation of this activity was motivated by prospective teachers who needed PTK training and assistance in order to improve PTK understanding and technician skills. This research method is Pre-Experimental with a One Group Pretest Posttest research design. Participants in this research consisted of 26 Biology teacher candidates, lecturers as resource persons, while researchers as observers. The time for carrying out PTK training is for 1 meeting, and carrying out PTK mentoring for 6 meetings, taking place at FKIP Ogan, Sriwijaya University. The results of the implementation show the influence of PTK training and mentoring as seen from the average test results which increased from 41.35 to 58.85 in the posttest from the pretest. The Normalized-Gain (N-Gain) test obtained a significance value of 0.49875 to prove that there was an increase in pretest to posttest results which were classified in the medium category. Apart from that, the results of the analysis of PTK articles show that there is a positive impact for student Biology Teacher Candidates in the Pre- Service PPG Program on their ability to implement PTK so that they can formulate problems found, find learning strategies, and write up research results to create scientific papers in the form of PTK articles. The results of the questionnaire analysis show a positive impact on increasing PTK abilities as seen from the tendency to agree with the answers of pre-service PPG teacher candidates regarding PTK training and mentoring experience, PTK understanding abilities, and practitioner abilitie.
