The incidence of HIV/AIDS is still a global health problem that continues to be overcome. Palembang City is the Regency/City in South Sumatra with the most HIV/AIDS cases over the last five years. The aim of this research is to analyze the distribution of HIV/AIDS cases in terms of the demographic conditions of sufferers, ways of transmitting the virus in high-risk places, and health service facilities in Palembang City in 2019-2023. This research uses descriptive analysis with an ecological study design. The population in this study were all HIV/AIDS sufferers who were recorded and reported by the Palembang City Health Service. The results of the research show that during 2019 to 2023 HIV/AIDS cases mostly occurred in Kemuning District, demographically most HIV/AIDS cases occurred in the age range 25-49 years (66.83%), male gender (87.98 %), and informal work/other jobs (30.76%), as well as how the virus is transmitted through homosexuals (47.81%). The highest risk places for HIV/AIDS in Palembang City in 2021 are in Sukarami District (502 points) and in 2022 and 2023 they will be in Ilir Barat I District (1171 points and 752 points). The results of the buffering analysis show that within a 3 km radius health service facilities have reached almost the entire area of Palembang City. Concluded that during 2019 to 2023 HIV/AIDS cases experienced a fluctuating trend. After spatial analysis of areas with high HIV/AIDS cases during the five years of research in Kemuning District. It is hoped that increasing VCT services and quality in health service facilities as well as increasing public awareness of carrying out VCT can overcome the transmission and spread of HIV/AIDS in Palembang City.
