ANALISIS SISTEM PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA HYBRID PLTS DAN PLTB DENGAN SIMULASI SOFTWARE HOMER UNTUK APLIKASI KERAMBA JARING APUNG
Electricity demand continues to increase in line with population growth and technological developments. On the other hand, the limited availability of fossil fuels and their negative impact on the environment have prompted the need to utilize renewable energy. One solution that can be implemented is a hybrid power generation system that combines solar power plants (SPP) and wind power plants (WPP). This study aims to analyze the technical and economic performance of a PLTS-PLTB hybrid power generation system for floating net cage (KJA) applications using HOMER software. The research method includes collecting data on electricity load requirements, solar radiation, and wind speed, followed by simulation and optimization using HOMER software to obtain the most efficient system configuration. The results show that the KJA's electricity demand of 213.90 kWh/year or an average of 860 Wh/day can be met by a combination of 50 Wp polycrystalline solar panels, a 500 W H-Darrieus vertical wind turbine, a 12V battery, and an inverter. The economic analysis produced a Net Present Cost (NPC) of IDR 104.039.400,00, a Cost of Energy (COE) of IDR 4,808,97/kWh, and annual operating costs of IDR 6,916.048,00. From these results, it can be concluded that the PLTS–PLTB hybrid system is feasible for supporting the sustainable operation of floating net cages because it is able to provide a stable, environmentally friendly, and economical energy supply compared to the use of fossil-based energy sources.
