This study aims to determine the availability of natural feed for Tembakang fish (Helostoma temminckii Cuvier, 1829) in the floodplain swamps of the Lempuing River and the Tanjung Sari Conservation Area, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. Sampling was conducted at three (3) stations, and the stomach contents of the fish were analyzed using a descriptive quantitative method with morphological identification of feed under a microscope. The results of the study identified eight types of natural feed consisting of phytoplankton, zooplankton, and macroinvertebrates, with macroinvertebrates being the dominant component at all stations. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index indicated a medium to low category (0.94–1.04), reflecting habitat quality differences among stations influenced by environmental factors such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and water transparency. Keywords: Helostoma temminckii, natural feed availability, stomach content analysis, floodplain swamp, Lempuing River Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketersediaan pakan alami ikan Tembakang (Helostoma temminckii Cuvier, 1829) di rawa dataran banjir Sungai Lempuing dan Kawasan Konservasi Tanjung Sari, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir,Sumatera Selatan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 3 (tiga) stasiun, kemudian isi lambung ikan dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan identifikasi morfologi pakan menggunakan mikroskop. Hasil penelitian menemukan delapan jenis pakan alami yang terdiri dari fitoplankton, zooplankton, dan makroinvertebrata, dengan makroinvertebrata sebagai komponen dominan di semua stasiun. Indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener menunjukkan kategori sedang - rendah (0,94–1,04), mencerminkan perbedaan kualitas habitat antarstasiun yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan, seperti suhu, pH, oksigen terlarut, dan kecerahan.
