WHO (2018) states that ARI is the leading cause of death in children under five worldwide, evidenced by a high mortality rate of 41/1000 children. Low child immune status with unhealthy home environmental conditions is at high risk for ARI in toddlers. This study aims to analyze the relationship between Immune Status and Healthy Home Components with ARI events in the Village of Pelabuhan Dalam, Pemulutan District. This research is an analytical observational study with a Cross-Sectional approach. The study population was toddlers living in the Village of Pelabuhan Dalam. Determination of 108 respondents was determined using the Simple Random Sampling method. The data analysis carried out was a bivariate test using Chi-Square and multivariate using a multiple logistic regression test of the prediction model in the statistical application. The results of the bivariate analysis showed a relationship between Breastfeeding Status (P-value 0.029), Temperature (P-value 0.024), Humidity (P-value 0.016), Presence of Smokers (P-value 0.005) and Household Waste Burning (P-value 0.024) ) with ARI events. The results of the multivariate analysis showed that the most dominant factor influencing ARI events was Breastfeeding Status. Therefore, it is recommended that mothers of toddlers can provide Exclusive Breastfeeding to their children for 6 (six) full months without adding or even replacing it with other food or drinks.
