ANALISIS PERSEPSI REMAJA TERHADAP UPAYA PENCEGAHAN SEKS PRANIKAH DI SMA NEGERI 2 LAHAT
Adolescents are a vulnerable age group prone to various physical, psychological, and social changes, making them at risk for unhealthy sexual behavior, including premarital sex. In South Sumatra, particularly in Lahat District, cases of HIV/AIDS and romantic relationships leading to intimate sexual activities have been identified among adolescents. This study aims to analysis adolescents' perceptions of premarital sexual prevention efforts in SMA Negeri 2 Lahat. The study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a cross-sectional survey design. A total of 267 respondents were selected as the sample using cluster sampling technique. The research analysis consisted of univariate and bivariate analyses using the chi-square test. The results showed a significant relationship between perceptions of susceptibility of premarital sexual prevention efforts (p = 0.000) and a PR value of 2.307 with a CI of 1.606-3.313. While the variable that does not related were perceptions of seriousness (p = 0.971), perceptions of benefits (p = 0.657), and perceptions of barriers (p = 0.282) of premarital sexual prevention efforts. The research results are expected to serve as a basis for designing effective educational interventions to prevent risk sexual behavior among adolescents.
