ANALISA LOGAM TIMBAL (Pb) PADA TANAMAN ECENG GONDOK (Eichhornia crassipes) DI SUNGAI OGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE POTENSIOMETRI SEL KONSENTRASI
Concentration cell potentiometry is a chemical analysis based on cell potential measurements to determine the concentration of an analyte. A concentration cell consists of two half-cells of the same material but with different concentrations. In this study, lead metal analysis was carried out on water hyacinth plants (Eichhornia crassipes) in the Ogan River using concentration cell potentiometry. Samples taken came from 7 different locations. Location 1 is the upstream of the river and location 7 is the downstream of the Ogan River. The concentration cell potentiometric method has good validation results and can be used to determine metal levels. This method has a regression equation in the form of y = 13.554 + 2.9715 with a correlation coefficient of 0.9982. The detection and quantitation limits obtained were 1.7 x 10-3 mg/L and 1.81 x 10-3 mg/L. This method has good accuracy and precision because the average recovery percentage obtained was 92.43% and the relative standard deviation percentage was 1.289%. Measurement uncertainty is 68.17 ± 12.5 mg/kg to 0.27 ± 0.05 mg/kg. Accumulation of lead metal in water hyacinth plants is high in plant roots with metal levels of 1.08 mg/kg to 68.17 mg/kg. The distribution of lead heavy metals in the Ogan River tends to increase from upstream to downstream with lead heavy metal levels obtained ranging from 0.67 mg/kg to 34.68 mg/kg.
