Calculate the production costs, revenue, and income from curly red chili pepper farming in Arisan Jaya Village, West Pemulutan Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency. 3. Calculate the marketing margin, farmer's share, and marketing efficiency of curly red chili peppers in Arisan Jaya Village, Pemulutan Barat Sub-district, Ogan Ilir District. Data collection was conducted in December 2024. The research method used was a survey method, and the sampling methods employed in this study were sloving, snowball sampling, and accidental sampling. The number of respondents in this study was 39 curly red chilli farmers, 4 middlemen, 4 wholesalers, 5 retailers, and two types of end-consumer respondents: restaurants and housewives. Data was analysed using tabulation and then calculated mathematically using Microsoft Excel software and described descriptively. The research results indicate that 1. The analysis of marketing channels in Arisan Jaya Village shows significant differences between the two marketing channels, namely: In Marketing Channel (I), the distribution process is relatively shorter. Farmers sell chili peppers directly to middlemen, who then distribute them to wholesalers. These wholesalers then sell their products directly to end consumers, bypassing retailers. This channel indicates a more direct relationship between wholesalers and consumers, which may occur in markets where consumers can purchase in large quantities. Meanwhile, Marketing Channel (II) has one additional intermediary, namely retailers. Similar to the first channel, the process starts from farmers to middlemen, then to wholesalers. However, the chilli from the wholesaler does not go directly to the consumer but is first sold to the retailer. It is the retailer who then sells it to consumers in smaller quantities. The presence of retailers in the second channel indicates that most of the chilli from this village is distributed to meet the needs of consumers who buy in retail quantities. 2. The average production cost of red chili peppers produced by farmers in Arisan Jaya Village is 1,794 kilograms, with a price ranging from Rp7,000 per kilogram. Based on the research results, the income of red curly chili farmers is Rp12,555,128, and the average income earned by farmers is Rp4,383,521. 3. Margin Marketing, marketing channel I has a marketing margin of Rp23,000 with a farmer share of 23% and efficiency of 0.83%. Marketing channel II shows a marketing margin of Rp37,000, with a farmer share of 16% and efficiency of 5.96%. Based on the calculations, all marketing channels for curly red chili peppers are still categorised as efficient because their marketing efficiency levels are below 50%.
