This research aims to optimize the collection of parking fees along public roads as an effort to increase the local revenue in Jalan Kolonel Atmo, Ilir Timur 1 District, Palembang City. The main focus of this research is to improve the collection process by expanding revenue bases, strengthening collection processes, enhancing supervision, improving administrative efficiency, and increasing revenue capacity. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results show that the steps taken by the Transportation Agency in the identification process of parking fee subjects and objects, as well as revenue calculations, indicate efforts to expand revenue bases. However, there are still obstacles related to tariff variations, inconsistent supervision, and inadequate services that hinder the optimization of fee collection. Recommendations include increasing supervision through regular patrols, implementing stricter sanctions for violations, and considering the use of technology in parking management.
