INITIAL REVIEW KESELAMATAN DAN KESEHATAN KERJA PERKANTORAN DI KANTOR DINAS KESEHATAN SERTA DINAS PERINDUSTRIAN DAN PERDAGANGAN KOTA LUBUKLINGGAU
The implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) in government offices is often considered a lower priority than in the industrial sector. This is evident in the offices of the Health Office and the Industry and Trade Office of Lubuklinggau City. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of office OHS standards in both institutions based on Minister of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016, which covers policy, safety, occupational health, ergonomics, and the work environment, as well as ISO 45003:2021, which includes the aspect of stress management. The method used was descriptive qualitative through in-depth interviews, field observations, and focus group discussions (FGDs). The assessment instrument was developed based on these two regulations. The results indicate that OHS implementation is suboptimal. OHS policies have not been formalized in a written document. Safety aspects remain lacking, such as the lack of fire protection equipment and evacuation training. Regarding ergonomics, substandard work chairs and unsafe wiring were found. Stress management has not been addressed systematically, and counseling services are not available in the office. Meanwhile, regarding the work environment, monitoring has been conducted but has not been well documented. In conclusion, improvements are needed across all aspects of OHS. We recommend that agencies immediately develop written OHS policies, provide occupational safety equipment, and increase employee awareness and training to create a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.
