Complaints about work fatigue are a real problem that is often experienced in daily activities, where fatigue is caused by various factors, ranging from excessive workloads, limited rest time, to a lack of human resource support. Work fatigue is a serious issue because it can potentially affect patient performance and safety. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with job fatigue in nurses at the Palembang Port Hospital. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach and probability sampling technique, namely simple random sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 83 people. The results showed that there was a relationship between age (p-value 0.003), marital status (p-value 0.014), energy intake (p-value 0.025), workload (p-value 0.002), and there was no relationship between gender (p-value 1.000), tenure (p-value 0.221), work shift (p-value 0.515) with work fatigue in nurses at the Palembang Port Hospital. Therefore, hospitals can conduct periodic fatigue measurements, adjust the number of nurses to the number of patients to reduce workload, provide nutritious meals, especially for night shifts, and provide secure digital platforms to accommodate nurses' complaints and suggestions. In addition, nurses are expected to be able to manage their time well by prioritizing the most important tasks to reduce workload.
